Township resident charged with assaulting Berkeley police officer

An Ocean County Grand Jury recently indicted a Bayville woman on charges she stalked a doctor between Sept. 21 and April 28. Beverly T. Finn, 75, of Strauss Court, showed up at the doctor's office repeatedly without an appointment, caused disruptions and put the doctor in fear, according to the indictment.

Also indicted in a separate incident was Torey H. Posey, 33, Korman Road. Posey is being held in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in lieu of $25,000 bail on charges of resisting arrest and assaulting a Berkeley Township police officer. John E. Williams, 25, Dockage Road, Bayville, was accused of criminally trespassing at the home of a neighbor on March 25, the indictment states.
