Bayville Teenager Struck By Car At Intersection Of Mill Creek Road And Lewis Avenue
Accident happened at 8:49 p.m. tonight, police say
A 16-year-old Bayville youth was airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center tonight after he was struck by a car at the intersection of Mill Creek Road and Lewis Avenue, Lt. Kevin Santucci said.
Berkeley police and the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office are on the scene in Bayville investigating the circumstances of the accident, which happened at 8:49 p.m., Santucci said.
The name of the driver was unavailable tonight. Patrolman John Houghkirk is investigating.
