Bayville Man Indicted on a Variety of Charges

Two other area residents also indicted

An Ocean County Grand Jury in a 17-count indictment has accused a 62-year-old Bayville man of illegally having a dozen drugs and a shotgun in Berkeley Township on June 28, 2010.

Herbert I. Wright III, Holly Boulevard, is charged with having marijuana,, oxycodone, cocaine, alprazolam, hydrocodone, amphetamine, methadone, hydromorphone, diazepam, lorazepam, benzamphetamine and a 12-gauge shotgun, according to the indictment.

Wright is also charged with having the firearm illegally after an earlier criminal conviction barred him from having weapons. He is being held in the Ocean County Jail unable to post $150,000 bail.

The grand jury also indicted two area residents in separate incidents.:

 Samantha M. Gianoulis, 21, of Neptune Avenue, Beachwood, is accused of breaking into a building on Atlantic City Boulevard in  Beachwood on July 7 and stealing three guitars, the indictment states.

 Michael E. Mennicucci, 25, of Lockhart Street, Toms River, is accused of breaking into three vehicles in Beachwood on Nov. 24,  stealing a GPS and a camera from the owner of one of them, resisting arrest by Officer Frank Mellilo and an aggravated assault on Officer Frank Mellilo, according to the indictment.
