Bayville Man Charged With Pizzeria Burglary
Ocean County grand jury indicts two men in connection with multiple thefts of playground equipment from area nursery schools, day care centers
An Ocean County grand jury has indicted a Bayville man on a burglary charge in connection with a break-in at the Holiday City Pizzeria last month.
John F. Carver, 39, of Roosevelt Avenue, is charged with breaking into the Jamaica Boulevard business in the Holiday City at Berkeley retirement community on March 25. He is free on $7,500 bail.
Also indicted were Michael Carlucci, 42, of Leonardo, and Tracy K. Williams, 37, of South New Prospect Road, Jackson. They are accused of stealing outside children’s play equipment and toys worth more than $500 from nursery schools, kindergartens and day care facilities in Toms River, South Toms River, Beachwood, Manchester, Point Pleasant, Point Pleasant Beach, Barnegat, Berkeley, Brick, Lacey, Jackson Lakewood, Little Egg Harbor, Ocean, Stafford, and Tuckerton between Aug. 14, 2009 and April 17, 2010.
