Bayville Man, 61, Arrested On Toms River Warrant At Berkeley Plaza

A 61 year-old Bayville man was arrested on an outstanding warrant last week out of Toms River, police said.

According to Berkeley police:

On March 25 at 3:30 p.m., Ptl. Michael Tier conducted a motor vehicle stop in the Berkeley Plaza. Further investigation showed that the driver was operating this vehicle with a suspended license.

It was then determined that the passenger identified as a Richard Heid, 61, of Bayville, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest issued by the Toms River Municipal Court.  As a result, Heid was arrested and transported to Berkeley Township Police H.Q. where he was processed and turned over to Toms River.

Makes you wonder as you go about your business in town, seems every other person has some kind of "issue". Good work the police do to catch them as they can. The clown with the suspended license, I wonder what it was suspended for? and do they impound his car?
