Asbury Park Police Charge Manchester Administrator With Cocaine Possession, Report Says

Berkeley resident Elena Zsoldos charged on Monday, authorities say


Manchester Township’s administrator was arrested in Asbury Park on Monday on a drug possession charge, according to a report in the Asbury Park Press.

Elena Zsoldos, 44, of Berkeley was charged with cocaine possession, according to a criminal complaint.

Police Capt. Anthony Salerno confirmed that Zsoldos was arrested at 2:19 p.m. Monday on the 1200 block of Main Street. He referred further questions about the arrest to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, which he said was conducting an investigation. Charles Webster, spokesman for the prosecutor’s office, did not respond to inquiries on Tuesday afternoon.
