Scott R. DaRoja, 56, of Bayville, died on July 10, 2014. Born and raised in Bloomfield, he was a resident of Bayville for the past 19 years.
Scott was a union member of Local #472, Construction Labors Union of Newark for many years. He is predeceased by his son Noel in 1995 and by his father William in 2001.
Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Kathy; two children, Scott and his wife Abigail and Vincent and his fiance Samantha; his mother, Joan DaRoja; granddaughter Kambria; four siblings, Donna, Bill, Darlene and Dawn. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, July 15, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m, with a prayer service at 8:30 p.m. at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Boulevard in Bayville. Committal will be private with the family.
