Lucy Latini Of Berkeley Township Dies At 85

AGE: 85 • Berkeley Township

Lucy Latini (nee Dalcero), 85, of the Silver Ridge Park West section of Berkeley Township, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014.

Born in Fairview, NJ, she lived in Rutherford, NJ before moving to Berkeley Township 16 years ago with her husband Adam. Lucy was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Adam Latini, and her brother Louis Dalcero.

Lucy was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Township. She was a member of the Silver Ridge Park West Women's Club, where she served as treasurer. Lucy was an active member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed bocce and was an avid bowler. She was also a volunteer for the Starfish, which assists seniors with transportation needs. Lucy was a regular volunteer for the Community Medical Center's thrift shop.

She is survived by her four sons, David Latini of Southampton, NJ, John Latini of Marina Del Ray, CA, Robert Latini of Noblesville, IN, Adam Latini of Bloomingdale, NJ and 11 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, in Berkeley Township. Committal will be private.
