AGE: 81 • Holiday City South, Berkeley Twp.

Gladys G. Wirth (nee Klein), 81, of Holiday City South, Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Dumont, NJ, she lived in Freehold for many years before moving to Fayette, Maine in 1990. During that time she wintered in Summerton, SC.

Gladys moved to Berkeley Township 18 years ago. Gladys was a school bus driver for the Freehold Township Board of Education for 12 years, retiring in 1990. She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church, Berkeley Twp.

Gladys was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed.

She was predeceased by her husband Erwin "Pat" Wirth in 2001, her twin sister Florence Withstandley, and two sisters, Lucille Deperesco and Margie Harris.

Gladys is survived by her children and their spouses Patricia & Dean Baldwin of Long Branch, Steven & Lynn Wirth of Howell,  Susan & Matt Aimalefoa of San Diego, CA and Barbara Collins of Brick, nine  grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley Township. The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ is in charge of the arrangements.
