Elaine L. Morrisroe (nee Edwards), 68, of Silver Ridge Park West in Berkeley Township passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Community Medical Center in Toms River.
Born in Orange, NJ, she was a longtime resident of West Orange, NJ. She later lived in South Seaside Park, for 8 years before moving to Silver Ridge Park West four years ago.
Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Andrew Morrisroe, twosons Michael Morrisroe of Howell, NJ and John Morrisroe and his wife Rose, a daughter Kelly Lavin and her husband Brian of Toms River, two sisters, Dolores Del Spina of West Orange and Audrey Cuccinello of Washington Township, and four grandchildren Brittany, Michael, Brendan and a granddaughter.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A funeral service will be offered Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
