It doesn’t take much for Lisa Frankle, 46, to remember what her Ortley Beach neighborhood was like after superstorm Sandy.

The remnants of homes, the splintered remains that stand like wooden tombstones to what once was, are still there. But the homeowners aren’t, according to a report in the Asbury Park Press.
