POLL: Did Christie Pick The Right Location For Berkeley Town Hall Meeting?

Please vote in our poll

by Patricia A. Miller

Gov. Chris Christie picked a clubhouse in the Holiday City section of Berkeley Township for his latest "Town Hall" meeting, miles away from the Sandy-ravaged waterfront sections.

The senior villages in the western section of the township had very little damage from the storm that slammed the Jersey coast on Oct. 29, 2012.

But that was not the case in the bayfront sections of town, including Glen Cove, Good Luck Point, Berkeley Shores, South Seaside Park, Pelican Island and Toms River Shores. Many homes were destroyed. Empty lots line the streets and other battered houses still wait for demolition.

Do you think that the governor should have chosen a waterfront area for his latest meeting? Please vote in our poll or tell us in the comments section below
