U.S. Citizenship Preparation Classes

The Berkeley Branch of the Ocean
County Library is pleased to offer a series of eight weekly classes for
eligible immigrants seeking United States citizenship. Classes are from 6:00- 8:00
pm beginning Tuesday, April 15th 2014.  To be eligible, students must be in
possession of a ‘green card’ for five years (3 yrs. if married to a U.S. citizen)
and be able to speak English. Subjects to be covered are Introduction to the
Naturalization Process, U.S. History, Reading
and Writing Readiness, and Application for Naturalization.



 



The Library is
located at 30 Station Road, Bayville. Further information can be found online
at www.theoceancountylibrary.org or by phone at 732-269-2144. Registration
begins on March 13.
