EVENT: The Lindbergh Kidnapping: Police Work & Pure Luck

The second program in a two-part

series highlighting the kidnapping of Charles Lindbergh, Jr. will be held at the Toms River Branch Library.  Local attorney and memorabilia collector,

William L. Huneke, will speak on different aspects of the police-work, including

the ladder used by the kidnapper, and how luck also played a major role in

solving the crime.  Artifacts ranging

from Lindbergh’s early life, marriage, kidnapping and trial will be shown.

Free parking after 6:00 pm is available in

the Toms River Township garage located behind the library or in the Ocean

County garage located on Hooper Ave.  Registration

for the program begins April 15.  Please

register in-person, by phone 732-349-6200 or online at http://www.theoceancountylibrary.org.
