Two Berkeley Schools Opening As Midday Relief Centers

Berkeley Township Elementary School and H&M Potter Elementary School will be open to charge phones, get warm

Berkeley residents who need a respite from the lack of power to their homes can go to Berkeley Township Elementary School and H&M Potter School next week during the day, school district officials announced on the district's Facebook page.

BTES and Potter will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday next week for residents to recharge phones, have coffee and food, the announcement said.

The district is looking for volunteers from its staff members to help out, and is looking for donations of ground coffee, cookies or donuts.
