Veterans' Kiosk to Visit the Ocean County Mall

Veterans can learn more about their benefits and entitlements just by visiting the Ocean County Mall on the dates of May 20-22.

The New Jersey Department of Military & Veterans Affairs will be bringing benefit information to “those who served” as part of their Veterans Outreach Campaign to the Mall located at 1201 Hooper Avenue in Toms River.

The “One Mall a Month” traveling Kiosk will be located in the Mall’s Center Court and will be staffed by DMAVA Veterans Service Officers 10:00a.m. – 8:00p.m., on all three days.

The Outreach program’s purpose is to inform as many veterans and their families as possible from the Ocean County area of all the benefits that they may be eligible to receive from the state and federal government

A State of New Jersey “Medal Ceremony” at which eligible combat veterans will receive the New Jersey Distinguished Service Medal, will “kick-off” the three day event and take place at 11:00a.m., on Tuesday, May 20th in the Mall’s Center Court.

Veterans who miss the opportunity to visit the Mall Kiosk can call the department’s toll free information line any time at 1-888-8NJ-VETS.
