A Berkeley Township man was struck by lightning earlier this afternoon at Island Beach State Park, according to published reports.
The 48-year-old man was conscious when emergency personnel took him to the Jersey Shore Medical Center, according to a report from NBC10 Philadelphia.
He complained of tingling and numbness in his legs, according to the news report.
