A reported accident caused a two-mile back-up with rubbernecking at 1 p.m. on the Garden State Parkway southbound near mile 81.

Parkway delays began north of mile 82 and continue into the Exit 81 area before clearing up past Berkeley.
Elsewhere, delays were underway at 1 p.m. on Route 37 Barnegat Bay bridge east in Toms River/Berkeley to Seaside, and also on Route 9 in Berkeley and Forked River.
