The Ocean County fair kicks into full-time mode today, with hours running from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the Robert J. Miller Airpark off Route 530 in Berkeley Township.
The event features children's games, rides, craft demonstrations, 4-H displays and demonstrations, agriculture displays and food for purchase. All rides today open at 6 p.m.
Admission to the fair is $7. There is no fee for children under 10. Visitors can buy a "pay one price" $20 ticket for rides each day of the fair or purchase a "mega-pass" for $40 for the entire fair.
Here's the schedule for today:
• All day - Hot Dog Pig Racing
• 11 a.m. - Open English Horse Show - horse show ring.
• 11 a.m. - 4-H Goat Show - 4-H show tent.
• 12 p.m.- Mutts are Nuts - main stage.
• 1 p.m.-Bow Benders Rifle Contest - back parking lot.
• 1:30 p.m.- Mutts are Nuts - main stage.
• 2 p.m. - Poultry Showmanship - poultry tent.
• 3 p.m. - Mutts are Nuts -
• 3:30 p.m. - Doc Swan's Magical Comedy Variety Show - outdoor show area.
• 5 p.m. - Doc Swan's Magical Comedy Variety Show - outdoor show area.
• 6 p.m. - Small Stock Show - 4-H show tent.
• 6 p.m. - Dirt Devils ATV - Horse show ring.
• 6:45 p.m. - Circus Incredible - outdoor show area.
• 7 p.m. - After the Reign, New Jersey's Premier Country Band - main stage.
• 7:30 p.m. - Doc Swan's Magical Comedy Variety Show - outdoor show
area.
• 8:15 p.m. - Circus Incredible - outdoor show area.
• 9:30 p.m.- Circus Incredible - outdoor show area.
