Decoy Show This Weekend in Tuckerton
Event will feature more than 50 contests including duck calling and hunting
The Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation will hold the 30th annual Ocean County Decoy and Gunning show at Tip Seaman County Park on Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30.
The two-day program is the largest display in the world of decoys, sneak boxes and other Barnegat Bay related occupations and recreational pursuits.
The show will feature expert baymen and wood carvers from the entire state, with more than 300 vendors. Food will be supplied by non-profit organizations from the Tuckerton-Little Egg Harbor area.

Delmarva Dock Dog will hold competitive hunting dog pool jumps. Awards are given for the longest leap for each breed of dog.
There will be more than 50 contests including caring, duck calling and hunting- related activities. Special shooting demonstrations will be sure to please the crowds and the Jersey Shore Folklife Center will have a display tent of traditional crafts.

Ocean County will supply free shuttle service to parking lots at Pinelands High School on Nugentown Road and Freedom Fields on Route 539 by Exit 57 on the Garden State Parkway. Hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
