FOUND! Little Dog Missing In Holiday City Since Fireworks Friday Night

Dee Dee weighs only three pounds and still has her leash attached to her

A three-pound, teacup Yorkshire Terrier named Didi spooked by fireworks that went missing in the Westbrook Drive area of Holiday City has been found.

The tiny dog ran away with her retractable leash attached on Friday evening. She was found under a bush with her leash still attached, said Nancy Stampfel, a friend of the owner.

Stampfel and some friends looked for the dog all day Saturday, with no luck.

"I got a call about a missing dog and I always try to help," she said. "We went out again and no luck. She is only three pounds. In the hot weather, she needs water."

Didi hopefully is resting at home with her owners.
