Five Things Happening in Berkeley This Week
Berkeley Township Historical Museum opens for season
Tuesday - The Berkeley Township Council will hold a public hearing on Martell's Water's Edge liquor license renewal at 6 p.m. in the municipal building. The owner's are requesting to extend the hours that outside music can be played. The restaurant is located on Bayview Avenue in Bayville.
Tuesday - The Berkeley Township Council meeting gets underway 7 p.m. in the municipal building on Pinewald-Keswick Road.
Wednesday - The Friends of the Berkeley Library are sponsoring a "Meet the Mayor" session with Mayor Jason J. Varano at 7 p.m. at the library on Station Road. Varano will discuss Berkeley Township and answer questions. Registration is required. Please call 732-269-2144.

Thursday - The Central Regional Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. in the board meeting room. The board may discuss what further cuts in personnel or programs may made be following the $815,239 cut by the five sending towns in the district.
Saturday - The Berkeley Township Historical Museum on Route 9 South in Bayville opens for the season, through mid-September. Regular season hours are 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays, or by appointment. for more information, call 732-269-9527.
