Expect Water Pressure Drops - Aqua New Jersey Flushing Hydrants This Month

Aqua New Jersey has begun its spring water main flushing program in a number of sections of Bayville, according to an alert on the company's website page.

The program - which began on April 10 - will run through 8 a.m. on April 28. Hydrants will be flushed from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Monday through Thursday from mid-April to mid-May.

The schedule includes:

Chain Boulevard - April 14

Millcreek Island - April 15

Tudor Avenue - April 16

Brooks Avenue - April 17

Veeder Avenue and Bowsprit - April 21

Bayview Avenue - April 22

Allen Road - April 23

BelAir - April 24

Please be advised if the customer lives in a surrounding street near these streets, they will probably be affected also. Customers may experience temporary discoloration and/or water pressure during this time. Just run the COLD water for a few minutes until the water clears.
