Bullying 101: Tools For Teens Seminar Slated For Tonight In Toms River

Registration is required for the event

The Ocean County Library system is hosting a Bullying 101 seminar at 6:30 p.m. tonight in the main branch on Washington Street in Toms River.

The Students’ Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights, signed into law in New Jersey in January, 2011, has been described as the toughest state law about school bullying in the nation.

What does this law mean for students, parents, and schools?

This program will cover the basics of bullying and cyberbullying: what it is, why it is so harmful, what parents can do about it, what teenagers need to know, and what the law means.

Registration is required. Register online at www.theoceancountylibrary.org or call 732-349-6200.
