Brush Fire At Robert J. Miller Airpark Declared Under Control

Another brush fire was reported near the Robert J. Miller Airpark Wednesday.

The fire was declared under control. Ocean County Sheriff Mike Mastronardy said the fire was reported at around 4:05 p.m. Wednesday but was tamed about an hour later.

Law enforcement officials initially had to block traffic on Pinewald Kezwick Road through the area but the roadway has been reopened.
