The Morning Call For September 6, 2013

Dig out the sweaters and turn off the air conditioning. Today will probably be the coolest day of the summer so far. But it will be bright and beautiful.

Today - The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies with a high only near 69 degrees. Winds will be from the north at 10 miles per hour.

Tonight - Mostly clear with a low near 53 degrees. Winds will switch to the southeast at 5 miles per hour, becoming light and variable.

Saturday - Sunny with a high near 77 degrees. Winds will be from the southwest at 6 to 9 miles per hour.

Things to Do:

Not much official happening, so head on out to Island Beach State Park. Locals know September is the best month at the Jersey Shore. Take a hike down the sugar sand paths of Double Trouble State Park.

What we are working on:

Beachwood Shopping Center owner and interested redeveloper negotiating over demolition costs.

Township Council adopts ordinance that sets limits on filming in residential areas, too late to stop Snooki.
