The Morning Call for September 5, 2103

Expect pretty nice weather for the first day of school in the Central Regional and Berkeley Township school districts. Gov. Chris Christie will be in Seaside Heights at 11 a.m. for the reopening of the Hugh J. Boyd School, which has been closed since Superstorm Sandy.

Today - Increasing clouds with a high near 80 degrees. Winds will be from the west at 9 to 14 miles per hour.

Tonight - Mostly clear with a low near 54 degrees. Winds will switch to the north at 10 to 14 miles per hour.

Friday - Sunny with a high near 69 degrees. Winds will be from the north at 8 to 13 miles per hour.

Things to Do:

• School opens for Central Regional and Berkeley Township school districts.

• Berkeley Township Planning Board, 6:30 p.m., Town Hall, 627 Pinewald-Keswick Road, Bayville.
