The Morning Call For September 17, 2013


The National Weather Service is calling for nice, fall-like weather for the next two days. Locals say September is the best month at the Jersey Shore. They are right.

Today - Sunny with a high near 65 degrees. Winds will be from the north at 14 to 17 miles per hour.

Tonight - Mostly clear with a low near 51 degrees. Winds will switch to the east at six to 10 miles per hour.

Wednesday - Sunny with a high near 68 degrees. Winds will be from the north at 7 miles per hour, becoming southeast in the afternoon.

Things to Do:

• New Jersey Hope and Healing Listening Station, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. , Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville.

• Berkeley Township Board of Education, 6:30 p.m., Berkeley Township Elementary School 10 Emory Avenue, Bayville.
