The Morning Call for September 12, 2013

We've got a bit of unsettled weather to get through before heading into a major cool-down for the weekend.

Today - The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high near 84 degrees. Winds will be from the south at 10 to 14 miles per hour. There's a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m.

Tonight - Mostly cloudy with a low near 66 degrees. Winds will be from the southwest at 11 miles per hour, switching over to northwest after midnight. There's a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Friday - Mostly sunny with a high only near 70 degrees. Winds will be from the north at 14 to 16 miles per hour.
