More About Berkeley Branch-Ocean County Library
The Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library system was established in 1991. The branch maintains a 45,000-volume library of books, encyclopedias, reference materials, magazines, feature films on video and DVD, compact discs, large print books, books on tape and a growing collection of Spanish-language materials. The branch also has Internet and word processing computers available for public use. Programs for children, teens and adults are also offered. The branch was the first library in the state to host Family Place, a program for children and their parents. The library also offers reference services, Internet training, personal interest programs and two levels of classes for English as a second language.
