Ocean County College’s Interpreter Training Program (ITP) is proud to announce this year’s fun-filled Annual Deaf Awareness Day and Annual American Sign Language (ASL) Rock & Roll Fundraiser Show on Saturday, April 21.
The Annual Deaf Awareness Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Ocean County College Gym, Health & Human Performance Center, OCC Main Campus, College Drive, Toms River. Vendors will have tables set up to sell their wares. Face Painting will be available for children and entertainment will be provided by Deaf-Blind Comedian Rene Pellerin. This event is FREE and open to the public. The Annual ASL Rock & Roll Fundraiser Show will be held at 7 p.m. at Toms River High School North, 1245 Old Freehold Road. Enjoy an evening of great music, American Sign Language, and fun! Tickets are only available at the door: Adults $12, Children under 12 and Students with ID $10, Veterans with ID are FREE! Admission includes dessert and beverages served during intermission. Half of all proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

Ocean County College (OCC) is an accredited county college in Toms River approved by the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education. OCC is a public two-year college.

The tuition for county residents is $94.00/semester hour. The tuition for out-of-county residents is $126.00/semester hour. Tuition is subject to change.
The school is a member of the following organizations: American Association of Community and Junior Colleges, American Council on Education, American Association for Paralegal Education, Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, New Jersey Association of Colleges and Universities, and New Jersey Council of County Colleges.
Students can also continue their education on the OCC campus by pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree through the OCC/Kean University Partnership. This partnership allows students to complete the upper division courses required for a Kean University undergraduate or graduate degree program.
