Warm Weather Settles Into The Jersey Shore
Near 80 degree temperatures expected today and tomorrow
It may only be the middle of April, but already the spring is showing signs of being a warm one across the Jersey Shore area.
So expect some busier-than-usual beachfronts, perhaps, as locals and tourists look for relief from the summer-like temperatures.
The National Weather Service is predicting a high temperature of 84 degrees today with a southwest wind blowing between nine and 16 MPH. With such a high temperature during the day it figures to be a pleasant evening with a low temperature of just 61 degrees balancing out the heat.
Today figures to be the hottest of a week of clear weather. Tuesday's predicted high temperature is still a warm 79 degrees according to the weather service. Tuesday night figures to be considerably cooler with a low temperature of just 45 degrees.
With the current conditions, the National Weather Service is continuing its warning about wildfire dangers. The service issued a special warning advisory that, with the low humidity and gusty winds, people are encouraged to be aware of their surroundings.
The rest of the week looks to have highs in the 60s during the day and lows in the 40's at night for a nice spring week across the area.
