My favorite Bruce memory is discovering that Bruce was rumored to give a surprise concert at a local place, here or there, and telling my friend about it because he is a bigger Bruce fan than I, and then my friend failing to go and kicking himself later.

Red Rocks outside of Denver, Colorado in 1978. He did a back-bend over a barrier between the stage and the audience, fell into the people in the front row and never stopped playing his guitar. He got up laughing and everyone loved it. My second favorite was from just a couple weeks ago in Philly when he was doused with a sponge of water - twice! This was at about 2.5 hrs into a 2 hr 45 minute show. He deserved it!
