Spring & Summer Events at OCC's Arts & Community Center

OCC Concert Band:

The Ocean County College Concert Band presents The All American Music Festival on Saturday, May 12 at 8:00 p.m. (Tickets: $20 adult, $17 senior, $10 student.)  This exciting instrumental performance features music from the Revolutionary Period to the Big Band Era … and from Broadway to Pop.  So wear your red, white, and blues!

Young People’s Production:

P.D. Eastman’s Are You My Mother? is brought to the stage on Saturday, May 12 at 1:00 p.m. (Tickets: $12, all seats.)  At long last, Baby Bird emerges from her shell and expects to be greeted by her mother’s song.  But her mother is not there.  With the help of Dog, Cat, and Hen, Baby Bird sets out in search of Mother Bird in this musical adventure based on the well-loved picture book.

Premier Performances:

Real Diamond: The Premier Neal Diamond Tribute Band will be presented on Saturday, June 2 at 8:00 p.m. (Tickets: $28 adult, $25 senior.)  Shining like the “real Neal,” Real Diamond is considered to be one of the best Neil Diamond Tribute Bands in the business!  Enjoy some of Neil’s greatest hits including “Kentucky Woman,” “Sweet Caroline,” “America,” and “Forever in Blue Jeans,” to name just a few.
